MAFCE Mission Statement:

The Martial Arts & Fitness Center of Excellence (MAFCE) trains, educates and develops instructors focused on optimizing performance, increasing durability, through a holistic methodology in physical fitness and martial arts to increase unit readiness in order make a more lethal warfighter. The MAFCE improves the warfighting capability of individual Marines and units, through the implementation of three programs of instruction: Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, Force Fitness Instructor Program, and Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival. The MAFCE uses contemporary science, subject matter experts, and collaborates with health and wellness professionals in developing its programs. The MAFCE serves as the center of excellence for all units to receive guidance and support that will enhance their abilities to accomplish their assigned mission and is responsible for the program development, standards, and procedures of its respective instructional programs.

Raider Hall is the home of the Marine Corps' Raider Museum displaying artifacts from the Marine Raiders of World War 2.  Individuals with base access are welcome to tour Monday through Friday, 0800-1600.  MAFCE Personnel cannot sponsor individuals who do not have base access.

MAITC 1-26: 12 January - 27 February 2026
MAITC 2-26: 12 April 2026 - 29 May 2026
MAITC 3-26: 3 August 2026 - 18 September 2026

Force Fitness Instructor Course Dates:

FFIC 1-26: 26 October - 11 December 2026
FFIC 2-26: 22 February 2026 - 3 April 2026
FFIC 3-26: 31 May 2026 - 15 July 2026

The MAFCE does not handle course enrollments or drops.  All enrollments and drops are routed to the unit's MARFOR Formal Schools Section.
