Marine Corps Martial Arts Program

As the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) proponent and functional expert, the Martial Arts & Fitness Center of
Excellence (MAFCE) coordinates all aspects on the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for

effective management, operation and maintenance of the MCMAP.

Martial Arts Instructor Trainer Course Dates:
MAITC 1-26 - 12 January 2026 - 27 February 2026 - Cancelled
MAITC 2-26 - 13 April 2026 - 29 May 2026
MAITC 3-26 - 3 August 2026 - 18 September 2026

Please continue to use MCTIMS as the single source for course dates/scheduling.
If you are unable to attend after being registered, ensure your training section disenrolls you. This will allow seats to open for other Marines.

In order to run an MAI course, submit the following requirements 30 days prior to course convene:
1. Letter of instruction signed by unit Commanding Officer which contains course dates, supporting MAIT names, and command CO and SgtMaj
full names and emails.

2. MAFCE standardized MAI course schedule, drill diagrams, and scenario-based training events. Any deviation is NOT authorized unless the
Lead Instructor has contacted the MAFCE for approval. **The course schedule will only need locations and instructors added**

3. Risk assessment worksheet (RAW) for Tan-Green sustainment. Marines that desire to utilize the Joint Risk Assessment Tool can do so in
accordance with their unit Standard Operating Procedure.

4. Risk assessment worksheets for each individual "Sustainment and Integration Practical Application" being conducted. (Example: 10 drills
equals 10 RAWs)

5. Risk assessment worksheets for each type of free sparring. Types of free sparring in the Martial Arts Instructor Course will be: Pugil Sticks,
Body Sparring, Ground Fighting, Standing Striking, and Weapons Free Sparring.
