The program builds confidence in weapons handling and decision-making under pressure, preparing lieutenants to effectively train and lead Marines in small-arms employment across operational environments. The team mirrors the standards and competitive spirit of the Marine Corps Shooting Team by promoting excellence in shooting, coaching, and lethality at the unit level.
